A 16-acre market-rate residential community situated on a former elementary school site, Cary Station blends thoughtful density with neighborhood-scale design. Five-story apartment buildings anchor the center of the development, surrounded by three-story townhomes that integrate seamlessly with the surrounding residential character.
The design establishes a direct connection between interior living and outdoor amenities, with ground-floor spaces opening onto a pool and communal gathering areas. A prominent corner tower, visible from Northwest Highway and the Metra station, serves as a distinctive architectural landmark marking the community's main entrance.
Mixed-Use Development
Lake Villa, Illinois
Positioned as a catalytic project for downtown revitalization, Lake Villa Junction is a mixed-use development at 209 Cedar Avenue, adjacent to Downtown Lake Villa, the Metra Station, Lehmann Park, and Cedar Lake. The L-shaped, four-story building features ground-floor retail, resident amenities, and covered parking, with three stories of residential units above.
Retail spaces are oriented along Cedar Avenue to maximize street frontage, with an anchor end-cap envisioned as a high-end restaurant featuring a second-floor roof terrace for outdoor dining — designed to bring new energy to the heart of the village.

On the former site of Old Traughber Junior High School, this master-planned residential community transforms a legacy educational property into a vibrant, connected neighborhood. The plan includes 36 for-sale townhomes and 125 rental units, anchored by a standalone clubhouse with a community gathering area that honors the school's heritage.
Approximately 3.6 miles of walking paths weave through the development, connecting residents to the surrounding community. Generous green buffers and stormwater detention areas provide natural screening, ensuring compatibility with adjacent single-family neighborhoods.
